Shilpa Das is a comedian/actor/writer based in Los Angeles. As a Diversity Scholar at the Upright Citizen's Brigade, she studied Advanced Improv, Musical Improv, Sketch Writing and has performed frequently for many years on the UCB Mainstage. Shilpa is an actor/writer in the Quick & Funny Musical company at UCB. She is also the producer and co-host of LA's largest South Asian variety comedy show, South Asian AF, which has had a two year, sold out run at UCB. Shilpa has performed stand up at The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, Flapper's, and lots of tiny, weird places around LA. She can be found holding down her day job, doing comedy around town, in an occasional commercial, at that spot with the expensive-but-worth-it lattes, or on her couch where she nurtures her inner undercover introvert.
