DAS
Shilpa Das is a comedian/actor/writer based in Los Angeles. As a Diversity Scholar at the Upright Citizen's Brigade, she studied Advanced Improv, Musical Improv, Sketch Writing and has performed frequently for many years on the UCB Mainstage. Shilpa has been an actor/writer in the Quick & Funny Musical company at UCB since 2018. She is also the producer and co-host of LA's largest South Asian variety comedy show, South Asian AF, which has enjoyed a sold out run since she founded the show in 2018. Shilpa has performed stand up at The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, Flapper's, and lots of tiny, weird places around LA. She can be found holding down her day job, doing comedy around town, in an occasional commercial, at that spot with the expensive-but-worth-it lattes, or on the middle seat of her couch where she nurtures her inner undercover introvert.
